Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By using WebWatch (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. WebWatch provides website and uptime monitoring so you can be notified when your sites or endpoints become unavailable. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WebWatch monitors URLs you add (e.g. your homepage, booking pages, or forms) and checks them at regular intervals. When a check fails or a page is unreachable, we may send you alerts (e.g. by email). The Service includes manual checks, automated monitoring, incident history, and optional paid plans for ongoing monitoring.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for: (a) providing accurate contact and URL information; (b) ensuring you have the right to monitor the URLs you add; (c) keeping your account credentials secure; and (d) using the Service in compliance with applicable laws. You may not use the Service to monitor sites you do not own or have permission to monitor, or to probe or attack third-party systems.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others; to send spam or unsolicited messages; to circumvent security or access controls; or to run excessive checks that could impact our infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully.
5. Service Availability and Accuracy
We strive to keep WebWatch available and to run checks on the schedules you configure. We do not guarantee 100% uptime of our own systems or that every check will run exactly on time. Monitoring results and incident data are provided for informational purposes; we are not liable for decisions you make based on that data.
6. Subscriptions and Payment
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing shown at signup. You may cancel in accordance with our cancellation policy. Refunds are handled as described at the time of purchase. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebWatch and its providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of revenue, data, or business) arising from your use of the Service or any monitoring results. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g. by email or in-app).
